Odoo nearshore team in Tunisia for European companies

Odoo since 2014

An Odoo team that works in French, on European hours

DevTalents is an Odoo development team based in Tunisia. Since 2014 we have worked for companies, Odoo integrators and web agencies in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

We work in French or English. Tunisia is on the same time as Paris in winter and one hour behind in summer, so meetings, support calls and go-lives happen during your working day.

Three ways to work with us

The right model depends on who owns the project and how much Odoo knowledge you already have in-house.

Fixed-scope project

You describe the need, we write the specification, agree on the scope with you and deliver the module, the migration or the integration. Suited to a well-defined piece of work.

Team extension for integrators and agencies

One or more of our developers join your team and work in your repositories, with your conventions and your project tools. You keep the client relationship; we write and review the code.

Maintenance and support

Bug fixes, small changes, performance problems and version upgrades on an Odoo that is already in production, whether we built it or not. Details: Odoo support and maintenance.

How the work is organised

Working remotely only goes well when the technical setup is clear from day one. This is how we run our projects.

  • All code lives in Git, in your repository or ours, and every change goes through a code review before it is merged.
  • We test on a neutralised copy of your database: no emails sent, no payments captured, no scheduled jobs running against real customers.
  • You validate on a staging environment before anything reaches production.
  • We work on Odoo.sh, on Odoo Online when no custom code is needed, or on your own servers.
  • Odoo Community and Enterprise, current and older versions.

Code you can check before hiring us

We publish our own modules on the Odoo Store: payment modules for European banks and payment services, including Monetico, CAWL, Axepta and Mercanet (BNP Paribas), Up2pay, PayFIP and Rabobank Smart Pay. The Alma module is maintained under a support contract signed with Alma.

These modules are a good way to judge how we write and maintain code over several Odoo versions. The full list: Odoo apps. For specific developments: custom Odoo development.

Who we are a good fit for

  • SMEs that run Odoo, or are moving to it, and need developers who know the standard modules well.
  • Odoo integrators and agencies that need extra development capacity without hiring.
  • Companies with an Odoo built by another provider that needs fixing, upgrading or taking over. See Odoo migration.

Frequently asked questions

Who owns the code?

The code written for your project belongs to you. It is delivered in your repository, and you can maintain it yourself or with another provider.

Can you sign an NDA?

Yes. Agencies and integrators often ask for one before sharing a client project, and we sign it before the first technical exchange.

In which language do we communicate?

French or English, in writing and in meetings. Specifications, tickets and code comments are written in the language you choose.

What hours do you work?

European business hours. Tunisia is on the same time as Paris in winter and one hour behind in summer, so most of the day overlaps.

How do we start?

Describe your project or your need on our contact page. We reply with questions, then a written proposal.
